Ending for the lady or the tiger

A bright flash of light came out of the room, blinding the youth. A strong gust of wind blew out of the room. The princess herself knew what was behind that door, and closed her eyes, waiting for the moment. The heart of the young man went "baddump....baddump...", each beat coming faster than the previous. The youngster closed his eyes, waiting for whatever laid behind the door. The sounds of horns broke the tension of the crowd. Tears of sorrow dripped down the cheeks of the princess, staining her pearly white face. She could not bear to see her loved one in the arms of another, causing her to leave the arena, tears falling to the ground like pearls. Her action was seen very clearly in the young man's eyes, he could not hold back any longer. Breaking away from his prospective wife's hold, he sped after the princess. The king ordered for the guards to stop him, but the young man yet still kept going, despite being held back by the guards. No one had dared to refuse the will of the king for marriage before, and now the king was rethinking about the case before him.



The young man thrashed forcefully and tried to ram his way out. It was then that after much consideration, the king had made up his mind. " Guards, let that man go. Since he has proven his love for my daughter, I cannot allow such a devoted man to be divided from his loved one. Today, we shall have a different wedding, one between that man and my daughter!" The king proclaimed, sending a wave of cheers through the crowd. Soon, the princess was called back, and the tears of sorrow were now replaced my tears of joy. The couple was together once again! The lady went off, tears welling in her eyes, and hate building p in her heart. "I will get my revenge on you princess, just you wait!" she though, flashing a sinister grin before disappearing into the shadows.
