Urbanisation Arrives in Thul
The Indian government has decided to urbanise the rural Thul. Factories and housing buildings have been drafted to be build over the paddy fields, and coconut trees. Thousands of engineers will come into Thul after the factories and houses have been built. The homes of the people currently living in Thul will also be demolished. The people of Thul are very unhappy about this arrangement for Thul. The more extreme ones have gone to protest to the government in Bombay, while the others just stay in Thul and complain to one another. "How could the government do this to us? Not even giving us a say in what happens to our homes and land." However, some villagers are still optimistic in this situation, thinking that the factories will provide jobs for them. Little do they know that they will not be given any of the well paying jobs. This just shows how naive and ignorant the people of Thul are. There has not been any news from the Indian government on how they will respond to the protests. Hopefully this matter can be resolved before riots break out.
